Omaha's Q98.5

Was home for a visit to Omaha a few weeks ago and as I sampled O-CB radio I kept coming back to KQKQ. A lot of what you hear on the Omaha radio dial is cookie-cutter... the same stuff you'd hear in Indy or Sacramento or Baltimore. But the Modern AC/Alt Pop thing on 98.5 is extremely unique.

I know that there are a handful of other similarly programmed stations in a few other markets, but not many. FWIW, it sounds damn cool. Does anybody know whether they're using a consultant, or are they doing it themselves?

I don't know anybody at NRG, but whoever is the brains behind Q98.5 should take a bow. Or get a raise. Nice job.

I've only checked it's song logs on mediabase and yes, but the playlist is great. The Black Keys followed by Katy Perry really keeps you wondering what's next and I wish it streamed. If it did, I would never listen to another station again.
