OMG - Mancow Gets Waterboarded Live On-Air

If you watch the video on his site, they claim it was around 8 seconds. I am waiting for Hannity to be waterboarded as he promised, but I think he is a chicken and will never do it. I say send Jesse Ventura in. He's offered to do it to him.

Sometimes, I think a little water boarding would be less torture than listening to some of the "jerks" on the radio. (Not all are jerks, but there are a bunch.)

Keith Olbermann's new daily "Hannity Challenge" feature on his show is priceless.

"Here, kitty, kitty, kitty..."

I think Keith Olbermann should be waterboarded and if he doesn't like it they should waterboard him some more!

I owe Mancow a debt of gratitude for proving something I've said forever. "Know what the hell you're talking about before you start pontificating".

Either it was predetermined that he was going to holler and give in to give credence to the enemies of this country, or Mancow is an absolute wimp with no balls at all. 8 seconds....what a joke.

Have you ever been waterboarded?

And what day and what channel can I watch as you demonstrate to us how a man with real cajones would react to and endure the waterboarding process?

If all a person needs is some patriotism and will power to endure waterboarding, then it must be a useless tool.

There are so many conflicting reports out there about what works and what does not work in extruding some facts from prisoners that it becomes laughable when people who have never administered "enhanced interrogation" or endured it step to the front and begin to pronounce who is a patriot and who is a wimp.

Again, what day, what channel? I'm looking forward to learning from your demonstration.

Give keith olberman about a dozen pie's to the face, the guy is a absolute clown. :D
No more than or just as much as Rush, Hannity and O'Reily.

I think we can all agree that pies in the face aren't torture. I'm OK with pies in the face for all of them.

The whole point about the Mancow waterboarding is that he too thought only a wimp couldn't take it. But reality is different from posturing.

The last admin was really into posturing. Won them elections after all. But reality; ahhhh... that proved a bit trickier.

Not saying the current admin is the greatest. But let's not get into who should be tortured because we don't agree with them. That's just not really the American way, y'know?

With deep respect and appreciation to vets and the fallen today...

+1. ...and a few more of EACH stripe who'll remain nameless for decorum purposes. Now, can we please "Take it Outside".

I think you meant another word, that word means "drawers" in Spanish.

Tell me the word I am thinking of.  Being slightly older than dirt,  I remember the term "cajones" becoming a tiny part of our vocabulary back in the era when things got really, really tense between the U.S.,  Russia and Cuba.  One day some people were attempting to escape Cuba using a relative small airplane.  A Cuban pilot flying a Russian provided MIG fighter used an air-to-air missile to bring down the small, unarmed plane full of civilians.  It was the Cuban pilot who used a phrase containing this word is gleefully describing what the pilot of the small unarmed airplane was now missing from his (dead) body.

ON A MORE SERIOUS NOTE:

If the topic of interrogation, waterboarding, etc. are of interest, read the following book:

"How to Break a Terrorist" by Matthew Alexander.

It's a quick read.  It will require a certain amount of focus keeping the characters straight.  Once it grabbed me I couldn't put it down.

The speech pattern of Americans in that era was somewhat more restricted and pious in that era and the media had a field day popularizing (if only temporarily) this....  (can I say it this way?)  bastardization of a Spanish language word.  ::)

Added Note: a little research indicates maybe the word is actually cojones.

You were in the right ballpark, GRC, the word is cojones. ;)

BTW Mancow is one of my "do not like" personalities right up there with Olbermann, but I'll give 'em both props. Mancow for going through with it and Olbermann for donating to charity like he said he would.

Now it's time for cutey pie, er, Hannity to step up and give it a shot.
