Omnia 6

I was reading the link about the Z-100, 1980's processing and Frank listed the equipment used for the Z-100 on air sound. Is there a preset in the Omnia 6 that reflects or comes close to the Z-100 sound of the 1980's?

The closest would be the CHR preset.

The perfectdeclipper is now available as a vst or standard winamp plugin. I've treated anything recorded after 1999, for the most part, and it makes a noticeable difference.

I went through my entire library, and my Omnia6exi? It almost, but not quite, sounds like a different processor. It now has more air in the highs, more woomph in the bass, and vocals pop more...it sounds less "walled off." Stuff "pops" a little more on the radio.

Thanks-- I just downloaded the latest version after reading your post. It's been a while since I've looked at Perfect Declipper.

I see Hans has now added some presets! Very helpful, much improved.

I'm trying it with the default which is called "Greedy". Did you find any others you preferred during your en-masse conversion?

Am I reading the price on the declipper correctly: 100 British pounds... which works out to about $150 U.S. dollars?
