Hello!
We recently installed a brand new Omnia 9 about a month ago, and it performs great, but I have noticed some strange behavior in it. When we ordered it, we were told that it was a new revision with a new audio I/O board design. In fact, there was a delay in shipping while they tested the new design. This means that our Omnia 9 must've been one of the first to roll off the assembly line with this new design.
Last night while listening to our station running this new Omnia 9, I heard the audio abruptly cut out for a couple of seconds in the middle of a spot. At the same time, I also saw the stereo indicator light in my truck go out for a moment, which tells me the entire composite cut out. We have our Omnia 9 doing the stereo/RDS generation and composite is sent via AES to our new Nautel GV20. Downloading the logs from that Omnia 9, I noticed something concerning that got logged right at that time:
I downloaded logs from all six of our Omnia 9s and searched "I/O stalled". I only saw two hits, both from our new Omnia 9 with a new revision of audio I/O board. It happens rarely enough and so briefly that I'm not terribly concerned, but the fact that it only happens on our new Omnia 9 revision does make me nervous.
If anyone else has a new Omnia 9 (ordered after ~Jan 2023) and would like to check their logs, here's how. In NFRemote, connect to your Omnia. Go into

Home>System>System Configuration>Backup and hit Backup (Download) Configuration Zip. Save that and open it as a ZIP file. Open the logs folder and check all of the Audio_I-O text files. Search for I/O stalled. If you see any results, please reply to this thread and let me know around when the Omnia was ordered. I would be interested to see if anyone else is having that problem.
