OK. I see references in their documentation about being able to process the main and 3 HD signals. (with the right upgrade model). The question of the day is "how in the heck can I get three inputs in a box with only main and aux inputs on the back?". I'm very confused...

Just a guess, but probably using the Livewire protocol over the Ethernet.
 
No Livewire at the moment in the O9, AES Reference input can be used as a standard digital input along with Main and AUX inputs.

Hi Gordon. So basically if I have all analog boards, then I'd need to get analog to AES adapters to get the HD2 and HD3 into the box? Thanks!
 
I hope you kind folks don't mind if I side track a little and ask if anyone's done a direct A|B comparison between the distortion controlled clipper in this box and the one in omnia 11. Raw tracks with no other processing whatsoever (and the Density Detector turned off on O.11) pushed by equal amounts of gain into the distortion controlled clippers.

I wouldn't really expect much of a difference in performance, just two different flavors each with its own small advantages.
It'd be great to hear some opinions on this, and of course hearing some samples would be ideal, but I couldn't ask for that much.
