Omnia One vs. Omnia Six

What are your goals (and the PD's goals) for the sound of the station?

Are you in an aggressive "loud market"?

Is the competition competing on loudness, or quality?

Current format?

You need to think about all of the above (and more) when choosing a processor....

Omnia One vs. Omnia Six EX. Is it worth the price difference?

We're more interested in quality. Quality wise - how does the Six compare to the One? Is the Six that much louder than the One? We're airing a Country format on one station and Hot AC on another.

As to how each reacts to audio, they have different topologies (and number of bands) so you may prefer one or the other in regards to handling some "problematic" material...

The only way to answer the question "if it's worth the price difference" is to hear your competitors on the dial and compare.

The 6's have come down in price recently. I echo the other sentiment about the 6. To sum it up: it makes a bigger sound.

These two processors aren't in the same universe as each other so it's hard to compare. RealityCheckr brought up a great point: Take your market into consideration.
