Does anybody remember when WFIL, back in the day, ohh say '70, '71, played these, I guess they were political satire songs, where the announcer would say, "Mr. President what do you think of the War in Vietnam"....and a clip of Edwin Starr's "War", would come on and it was "War, Huh, What is it good for?, Absoulutely nothing!. Then the announcer would come on and ask another question, and so on and so on. I thought their were quite a few songs like this.
Now, did they survive the acetate? (tape), and does anybody know of any copies of them anywhere like maybe youtube? Thanks!!! Or am I losing my mind? I emailed the curator at WFIL, about three years ago and he had no clue what I was talking about!!
