On-Air audition at Alive105

So I applied at Alive 105 for the 7:00pm to Midnight shift, and got called back for an On-Air audition this Friday from 7:00- 8:00pm on 104.9 if anyone would like to listen.

This is my first ever on-air appearance. I have done some intros for a few friends in Nashville on Adobe Audtion, but I am just going in there, and hoping to be a hard act to follow as they have others that are auditioning the same way as well.

I would GREATLY appreciate anyone who listens and can give me some feedback/ constructive criticism.

It's a suburban, rimshot station in the Chattanooga market (They concentrate on the Cleveland, Dayton and Athens area). They are Hot AC/Adult CHR at 104.9 (licensed to Dayton, TN), and the call letters are WALV. They are owned by Brewer Broadcasting that owns other Chattanooga stations (Power 94, Groove 93, 95.3 Jack FM). Their website is www.alive105.com. Currently Roy Jaynes, (aka Cadillac Jack) is the PD. He was a well known dj in Knoxville back in the late 70s and early to mid 80s on WOKI (then using the name "Brother John" and "John St. John"). I like the way he programs stations because they have a retro/80's style CHR sound with tons of sweepers and jingles.

I think I remember Cadillac Jack. It seems like I might have heard him over on Kicks FM when they were on the air. Was he back in Knoxville on 100.3 The River for a bit? It seems like I remember the name Brother John St. John from that era too.

Brother John was on WOKI 100.3 back in the early 80's. It seems like he was there from 1981 to 1983. He also came back to Knoxville, and did evenings for a very short period of time on "MAX 105.3" back around 2002 and 2003 which was the same time period that WOKI was, "The River". MAX 105.3 is the radio station that you probably heard Brother John on during that time period.

Ok that would explain it. I was an avid Max 105.3 listener. Kinda tells my age doesn't it ;D
