On air news people retirements

Can anybody think of any other years were 2 years ago it has been crazy with on air retirements two years in a row. A lot have announced or have already retired, and with some exceptions the two majors tv stations that have their on air people announce their retirements, have been WGN TV and WLS TV. If I created a list of the on air people that have announced their retirements, news anchors, sports anchors, and of course meteorologist. And plus with Jerry Taft annoying his retirement, he has become the 3rd meteorologist to retire, even two of 3 being the chief meteorologist, while one is not.
