I posted this not too long ago. They got rid of Domino and Joleen.

God, i wish Service Broadcasting would branch out here to Houston one day. Having listened to K104 and KRNB online recently, they sound pretty damn good and they know what they are doing. Down here they could give Majic and The Box a run for their money.

That's the "Michael Erickson" Service Broadcasting you are now hearing.

I think its the 10 - 3 slot they are trying to fill.

Why would Erickson do a national search for a mid-day time slot. DFW has a huge talent base. Maybe he's looking for Steve Harvey's replacement when his deal is up in December. Just A Thought.

PS: The positions are not posted internally.

I haven't heard anything else, but I think the two that's doing the vacated shifts on both stations are just temporary replacements.

Another compliment:

After hanging out in DFW all day yesterday (sunday) for the All Star events, i listened to K104 and they were doing the damn thing!!! I really enjoyed the mixes they were often doing throughout the day, and it is good that they really show a lot of love to the local artist by playing more of their music than before. I kept it on driving back to Houston until it faded out. When i wanted to just chill for a little bit, i turned to KRNB and they played some really good R&B, even some i haven't heard in a while. Sounds like they are finally staying on one track, instead of trying one thing and then going to another.

Erickson's Service Broadcasting is sounding great.

Mr. Ric, "Mr.E" is the best thing to happen to Service. You should check him out at 5 O'Clock Monday-Friday, on KRNB, as he put it in the mix on the "5 O'Clock Mixtape". Yes, the boss can mix!

Hey bucwhyl, thanks for the tip. I checked out the Mixtape for the first time yesterday. VERY cool..! I know where I'll be at 5:00 from now on. Thanks for the heads up! Old Skool is where it's at!!

Loved the mix today. The songs he played today was more of what I could relate to.
