Craig mentioned today in the opening of the show between 2:10-2:18 that a prominent on-air personality was seeking work elsewhere. It then dawned on me that Judi has been out the past two weeks on Tuesday & Wednesday for "Jewish holiday". Funny thing that they normally leave Dennis alone, but have Chantel in with him; sounding like she is trying out for the gig. Also, her picture is even on the Dennis/Judi webpage. Who the hell is Chantel? I'm not sure Jews who take off for Jewish holidays are supposed to be out looking for jobs though...so that might not be the smoking gun.

The whole situation just seems odd. If someone is leaving, who else could it be? Judi is the only one consistently off for one reason or another. Like when they replaced D&D or Scott & Casey in the afternoons, they didn't do best-of's or music...they had replacements on purpose.
Who knows...maybe I'm just reading more into things than necessary. But the fact that Chantel was brought in twice, when they usually leave Dennis alone...they posted her picture on their page...and Craig hinted about it twice this afternoon. Dennis seems awfully comfortable with her for having worked with her twice on the station.
Later he mentioned something about Sacramento, CA and I know Judi is originally from California. Is she looking to go back?

Usually fill-ins wear a sweatshirt and jeans. When a fill-in is wearing a leather outfit like Chantal was, I think an exception could be made.
Also, considering that Judi's entire family is here, and she's got young kids, I really kind of doubt she'd uproot all of that to go back to California.
This is what I learned a long time ago: If there is something happening internally with a person's job, it's not discussed on the air. If it's a bit, it's on the air.
EDIT: and for what it's worth, I thought Ms. Druce sounded great on the air. Awesome voice.

Is this the same Judi that was on Oldies 107.1 from Long Branch and was with Tripp Rogers at da buzz 105.1 in NYC, after 107.1 canned oldies??? If not, what ever happened to that Judi, I think her last name was Franco, which sounds more Italian than Jewish.

NJ 101.5 (when I used to listen...PRE DUM&DUMMER, Carton & Rossi), had fill-in guest hosts on several occasions with Dennis from: Cathy Donnely, to Jill Myra, to Mary Walters and some others. If I can remember correctly Christopher Knight and Joel Katz were partnered up with Dennis too.
NJ 101.5 (when I used to listen...PRE DUM&DUMMER, Carton & Rossi), had fill-in guest hosts on several occasions with Dennis from: Cathy Donnely, to Jill Myra, to Mary Walters and some others. If I can remember correctly Christopher Knight and Joel Katz were partnered up with Dennis too.
