On Dish & DirecTV

Currently Dish carries Sirius and DirecTV carries XM. What will happen when the channel merge happens on Wednesday? Will they both carry the same music?

I have DirecTV which has XM. I did some checking , and as of Wednesday some of the XM channels are being replaced by their Sirius counterparts . Some channels are going away but many XM stations are remaining as they are now according to the program guide .Personally I am glad my favorite 60’s on 6 stays . I find this curious since other threads on this board say most of XM stations on satellite are being replaced by Sirius channels . I don't know how this affects Dish .
