Robin vs. Robbins Re: On the one hand...
Robin Quivers is the best thing about the Stern show, in my humble opinion. It is MAX ROBBINS who drives me to AM 1430 with his laughing hysterically (as noted by another poster on this board) like he's Howie Carr's sidekick or something. Count up how many cackles you get from Robbins vs. Robin - 60 times all the Wizard Of Uhz Happy will ever find

I like Max (last name actually spelled Robins, btw) and his banter
with Howie. Trivia: Well, we know that J. Max is with Broadcasting
and Cable now, but he used to be with TV Guide--and 'RKO used to
have another TV Guide bigwig on before Max came along. What was his name?
Answer: David Hiltbrand. I remember his last name because it's almost like
that of one time Sox player Shea Hillenbrand.

It's no fun if you answer the trivia as soon as you ask it. I used to remember Hiltbrand's name because of a wrestling ref. who died around the time Hiltbrand was on HC, same last name I think, or close to it.
