Once Stern leaves, who will be affected?

it is just about a guarantee that once stern leaves
CKG will be gone. now the question is. how will this affect other stations in the market?

right now, there is no oldies station, and possibly no hot talk in the future. this is pure speculation, but what are the chances that Q101 fails and flips formats by the end of the year to hot talk with mancow in mornings and kevin matthews to mornings on the loop? what better way to compliment mancow's morning madhouse than to build a male talk station right around him and matthews at the loop for heritage, without affecting mancow and his ratings?

Two weeks ago, I would have agreed with you on WCKG going away after Stern.

However, when they chose to kill JMK and launch Jack, that tells me that someone in CBS has a plan for CKG.

I still bet that Johnny B comes back to town.
