One Pirate gone one more to go

The oldies pirate on 99.3 has been off the air for a few weeks, the Jamacian powerhouse at 106.5 is still at it 24/7. Of course, Stones illegal noisemaker on 97.7 has been above the law for years, why the Hawk does not complain is very strange. When they move in market, they better make some noise, and jail Stone once and for all.

Oh Yea. Your so right. I say we must kill all pirate broadcasters. This kind of radio poison is so agregious to our listening lives. The big behemoth broadcasters serve our needs all to well and are certianly too delicate, to be disturbed by the slightest hint of expansion and competition. Don't those darned pirates know that this is not some kind of demacracy where other voices should be heard. Remember, the fcc rule is an all too important vestage of communism dictator ships to be abolished. It is just this kind of thing we must preserve to keep our cherished monopoly's in power. Deversified voices will only lead to other and even more demands for change. Where would we be without the gracious priveledges of 88-108mhz with third adjecent protection, and the federal communication act of 1934 and 1776. Oh and don't forget 540-1710kc. Now let's not hear any more of this free voice pirate radio once and for all.

Let me clarify it, before you go on a tangent. What I am saying is, the Jamacian, Regaee, Island, Rap, anti-white spewing pirates, et al, are allowed to continue. When a pirate plays Rock or Country the FCC hunts them down and kills them. Just the facts, if it were fair game I would not complain, but its so one sided. The politically correct Chicken S*it FCC is the main problem.

I concur with your post, BUT...

I don't know if I can post this without getting anyone in trouble, but I have been in contact with Michael Tozzi from JJZ, since last month, when I informed him of the pirate. He told me the FCC was notified and action would be taken. That was almost a month ago, he has been e-mailing me about the situation. I have told him they are still on the air and they really bust on JJZ, going toward the Upper Darby, 69th street area. This is close to the antenna farm and JJZ Xmtr on Mermaid Lane, the pirate is located in Southwest Philly, thus, it has a powerful signal in South Philly and Delaware county. Great stereo and processing, real top notch, today they were running Jamacian religion, most of the time they are just Jamacian/Rap, West Indian and Regaee. That is what I meant when I said the FCC picks their targets, otherwise this pirate would be history.
