One soundcard (input, source) feeding two Breakaways?

There might be a very simple solution to this, but I haven't figured it out yet...

I have build a PC with XPPro, an SSD and a Marian Trace Alpha soundcard dedicated for Breakaway use only. I've installed both Breakaway Live (for streaming purposes) and Breakaway Broadcast (for FM purposes). I use both BL and BBP because i want to use different processing on the streams and on FM. There is only one soundcard, used for both input and output. Output is not a problem, because BL uses only Edcast encoders as output. The input however is a bit more complicated because I can't (seem to) choose the Trace Alpha as input in BL and BBP simultaneous. Yes, the trace Alpha is running at 19200 in both BL and BBP but is probably 'claimed' by BBP because it is used for MPX output as well (is this true?) Tried a different (second) soundcard, didn't work either. It seems Breakaway needs the soundcard to be exclusive.

So my question is:
1. Can I do something smart with the pipelines or with Virtual Audio Cable that makes it possible to use the signal offered to the inputs of just one soundcard for both BL and BBP? Is there perhaps a software version of a distribution amp?

I really don't want to use a hardware distribution amp...

[UPDATE] Tried a different soundcards, didn't work either. It does seem Breakaway needs the soundcard to be exclusive.
Downloaded Virtual Audio cable, and the included audio repeater does the job, just need to get rid of the pops in the audio now.

Sorry for the inconvenience, couldn't delete the thread...

For the pops in the audio, I had to revert to an older version of Virtual Audio Cable (specifically version 3.12), and that solved it. I got that idea from someone on the BBP forum, but forgot who.

I'm told that the ASIO version of Breakaway allows for a separate low latency output for monitoring. Catch is that it appears to need an ASIO sound card (it doesn't see anything but my Trace Alpha card) to work with. So at this point, I haven't confirmed that it will work.

Only Kernel Streaming is exclusive for most soundcard drivers. Rarely you'll get drivers that support multiple clients from Kernel Streaming (and sometimes ASIO) like RME, because they are proxied and not direct KS (or ASIO).

Most drivers should support multiple hosts on DirectSound and MME (Wave) interfaces. The unfortunate side effect is those generally require more/larger buffering to be stable.
