One Wolverine Center defeats two squads of Beavers and Tigers

It's interesting that in the 30's a normal sized guy could be a star football linemen.
Of course, players played both offense and defense back then. But from seeing old football films, it was a more interesting and wide-open game back then, before the Incredible Hulk types took over.

CBS dumps the Sun Bowl College Football game for the opening ceremonies of President Fords Funeral.

Generally, the funerals for former Presidents should take priority over a minor college bowl game. But I found it interesting that Fox and NBC didn't cover it (unless I was flipping channels at the wrong time), while ABC and CBS did.

And, maybe it was just me, but Katie Couric's segue from Ford's funeral to Saddam's impeding assumption of room temperature was a bit sloppy. They shouldn't really have been in the same report. It sounded like a bit disrespectful to Ford IMHO even though it was a legit news even in its own right.
