One World Concert Special

Musicians are keeping busy and having fun with technology, bringing their music to people from their homes. The late night talk shows are being done from home. A number of TV specials have originated that way. The Academy of Country Music replaced its annual awards show with an at-home music special. Saturday night, there will be another one of them, featuring a lot of big stars, such as Elton John and Paul McCartney. This one is being broadcasts on the networks of NBC.

It will actually be broadcast on NBC, ABC, and CBS (as the hosts are Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert), amongst other cable sister channels of those broadcast networks.

Update SiriusXM will air the radio edition of the One World Concert special.

Pretty good special I watched it surprised Fox didn't air it as well never know why.

First thought was political/cultural opposition from management, but hasn't Fox always been good about keeping its entertainment and news divisions separate? The deal with iHeart seems the more likely explanation.

It was on so many other outlets I doubt it would make much of a difference. In any case, it was a nice special.

I personally enjoyed the Hope Rising concert on Sunday via Facebook Live more though.
