My favorite's are ipartyradio.com (I listen at least once a day) and C 89.5 Seattle.

There is Energy 98, B96-HD 2 Chicago (on winamp), and more.

If you listen to B-96 HD-2 make sure to listen from the official website and use the CBS player, it has better SQ and probably a higher bitrate than the winamp stream..

Otherwise,,, Energy 98
I-Party radio
and of course 1club.fm are the best of the net stations

But if you have Live 365,, You can listen for free too if you want,, check out B-91 The rhythm of the city,, and try out 96.7 The Party and the original Hot 97 Ran and operated by the founder of the original Hot 97 in NYC....

Oops. Almost forgot,, we can forget our buddy at Hot 96 in Portland www.hot96.net/ Its different from other dance stations,, and its not one of the highest rated dance stations, but most of us like it, and the owner/op posts here at times.

Yeah,, Im one of the few on the board that likes Vibe Vegas,, the Mitch Craig imaging really gives them the classic 80s and 90s Dance/CHR sound... WOKI in Knoxville TN and WKSF in Asheville NC and Power 98 in Myrtle Beach all used to use Mitch Craig for imaging... I think either B-96 or Z-95 in Chicago also has Mitch Craig for awhile,, and he is also on alot of Rock and Country stations and even Comercials.. I think Rhythmic CHR KWIN 97.7-98.3 also uses him last time I checked.. Yeah I think people give Vibe a hard time cause their Tower is out in the Desert and Vegas cant really hear it,, and they have no Jocks, Mixshows, or many Ads yet, but I think this will all change once their repeater in Vegas is launched... I like how Vibe Vegas also kinda caters to the CHR crowd, I think it sounds a bit like C-89.5 in Seattle. People who arent even big Dance fans will preset the station in their car cause they play alot of CHR chart hits that KLUC and Hot 97.5 are ignoring,, by artist that they recognize... and they dont always play a remix if the song is already uptempo enough, plus they play some rock songs with just a slight rhythmic drum loop added, as well as some crossover hip hop, which is how the CHR Dance stations in the 80s and 90s would do it.... However the original poster was asking for Net Only stations, thats why I didnt mention it, but they do have a killer HQ stream.

Vibe Vegas has been on my office mac solely every day this month. They really do remind me of the 1990s Rhythmic CHRs that focus on 80% dance 20% uptempo pop/hip-hop. Mitch Craig sounds great, I agree. He was a staple on B-96 in the early 90s. (Killer B, give me a BLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBL....Beeeeeeeee-96) I think Z-95/HOT 94.7 (whatever) had Mark Driscoll as VO guy. He was great too!

Thanks for the thoughts on The Vibe. I'm working on getting the thing "fine tuned". It was left bit of a mess, but I'm sorting through the library and getting it fixed.

There is a new stream provider in the works and there will be a better website presence in the next week or so.

Also, lots of new mixshows are on the way. ;)

As far as net-only Dance stations my preferences run with some of the European-based streams.

Jenny FM out of Germany, Party Night in Austria, Fun 1 from the Czech Republic, Pulsradio from France, Hot Mix Radio from France, Bassline from Greece, Fear FM from Holland, and Radio Seven from Sweden

I'll be posting the updated list of ALL the terrestrial-based FM Dance stations from around the world in the coming days, along of course with a selection of net-based ones. Lots of changes as always - new streams, new websites, new stations added for you to check out.

Ill have to update my blog on myspace too... While my list isnt near as in depth as yours, I try to post the best Dance/CHR/Rhythmic streams that I think my friends will enjoy. We all need to add Mix FM from Syria,, which is still dance friendly during most dayparts, and POP during others,, also BEAT FM 102.5 in AHMAN Jordan seems to have really picked it up on Dance as well so Chrles, you should check out Beat FM in AHMAN,,, its very simialar now to crosstown Play 99.6,,, Im not sure how much Dance NRJ is playing yet,, but AHLMAN FM i think its called sounds like an Adult friendly CHR to me with much less dance,, yet is the most American sounding of the CHRs.. What about UAE.. Anything Dancy going on over there at this time... Also Nile fm in Cairo is really getting bad lately, I used to love this station but its trainwrecked now, and has very little Dance aside from their specialty shows, and now their new Imaging sucks, I liked their Kiss 2001 package they used to run. OH, And I found a station in Maylasia that plays some dance as well, look up Hot FM Maylasia on Shoutcast.... Also, Why this still is no where near being Dance friendly, both of the Puerto Rico CHRs KQ 105 and the one on 103.7 have YKES VAN Lock-Rise Up in the top 10...Spelling???? And in Aruba,, which is already home to the Trainwrecked, yet Trpical Dance friendly Magic FM 96.5 has a new station called Cool FM 98.9 Its a Rhythmic station,, its position is the best of Hip Hop Reggeaton, house and R&B.. So you may wanna check it out as well.. I havent had a chance to give a decision whether its Dance friendly worthy or not.

Alright, a lot to respond to.
First up, the Yves La Rock track is big in Latin America. Los 40 Principales in Colombia is nowhere near being a Dance station, but many of the foreign/English language records played these days are Dance ones.
The 2 CHRs in Puerto Rico currently are 107.3 Toca De To, and KQ-105. You may remember that in the 90s 106.9 La Mega was the big CHR on the island, and they were definitely Dance friendly. There are other stations in PR that play a bit of Dance or Pop, but they're usually focused more on Reggaton or Hot AC.
I've decided to add 3 of Jordan's CHRs to the Dance webcasters list since they're all very Z-103.5 sounding during most hours. Beat FM, Play, and Energy will all be added, and we can decide over time which ones should stay on the list. I gotta tell you - I love the imaging at Beat 102.5, as well as on the new Spin FM. Spin may not be as Dance friendly, but they're pure CHR, break lots of records, and are the only CHR in Jordan that has already set up additional transmitters in other Jordanian cities. It's a very professional operation as it's owned by the same company that operates the Spin stations in Ireland, as well as Spin 96.2 Prague (a Hip Hop station), and the new Spin FM in Estonia.
The Middle East in general is oftentimes very Dance friendly. Hit Radio in Morcco is heavily influenced by the French scene so you'll see a lot of House on its playlist. Turkey has some really good Dance and Dance-heavy stations though the station to check out of Turkey these days is the new Virgin Radio, which used to be the Capital Radio network in Turkey.
Virgin also has a great CHR in Dubai, truly one of the best CHRs in Asia, on 104.4. The execution is so spot on. The other CHR in the UAE is Radio 1, and while both stations play some Dance it's not the same amount as on the Jordanian ones, and nowhere near the amount as in Turkey. Still, seeing as how you work at a CHR you'll definitely appreciate Virgin Radio.
Clubber, you know where you can go to see my updated CHR lists, right?

Yeah Chrles I know.... Yeah, I agree that the middle east is pretty Dance friendly,, I think Jerusalum could support a couple, and if things get stabalized in Baghdad, and maybe Mosul could support a few... I think in Egypt with Nile Fm being so train wrecked, I think they could launch another Z-1035 CHR in Egypt that would kick Nile FMs butt,,, Nile FM used to be good, but the imaging and the miss managed clocks are terrible now... Also,, Chrles I know Africa isnt Europe, but you might want to check out YFM in Johanasburg,, Its an Urban station, but its about 50 percent House- and Kwaito which is SA form of House and Hip Hop mashed together,,, also 5fm,, although not worthy of the Dance list 5 fm is a very good CHR to check out, its owned by SABC... Bay FM in PE can be good at times, but it is so train wrecked and unfocused, and the stream is unreliable, so I wouldnt call it worthy either,,, but I think J-Burg, and Cape Town could each support a pure Dance station as long as it leaned on house and included some local Kwaito as well... Nairobe-Kenya could use a decent Dance Friendly CHR too, they dont have nothing good to listen to there.... IN Namibia, they have the Dance friendly Energy 100.9, but last time I checked, they didnt stream.

Y-FM is a very cool station, but I prefer to leave it as a Rhythmic or Urban station for now.
You know, it's pretty sad that things are still pretty unsafe in South Africa. White people can't even walk to the mall alone without protection or some guns on them, and in addition to that there's bad blood amongst some of the tribes. Still nowhere nearly as bad as it is in some other African countries as Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Congo, Somalia, and Sudan.
Jerusalem's a pretty special city in Israel. There's a certain aura to it, and one of the best nightclubs in the world used to be located there called Haoman 17. Used to be ranked as one of the Top 5 best clubs in Europe, and it's not even a European city, LOL.
Still, when it comes to nightlife, clubbing, and Dance music Jerusalem pales in comparison to the Tel Aviv area. This is b/c
a) a third of Jerusalem's population is Palestinian, a third is orthodox Jewish, leaving only one third as non-religious, or not very observant. About a third of Jerusalem lives in poverty, mainly either the Palestinians or ultra-religious Jews.
b) the population of Jerusalem is pretty large at 750,000, but metro Tel Aviv has a population of nearly 3 million.
c) Tel Aviv is very liberal and is the cultural center of Israel.
You could easily launch a Slam FM type of station in Tel Aviv, followed by one in Haifa (an hour to the north), and one in the tourist-haven of Eilat (the southern tip of Israel).

Baghdad is too messed up right now for any kind of overly Dance station to be honest with you. Thousands upon thousands of Iraqis have died in the past few years, mainly due to the insighting between Sunni versus Shiite muslims.

BTW, If I had it my way I would take down the state owned TV and radio stations in Iran and have them watch European porn instead, LOL. I know that's extreme, but that country is soooo religiously extreme that they need someone to kick them in the assss and show them what they're missing out on, LOLOL. The radio dial would be filled with nothin but Active Rock stations from the American midwest coupled with pure Dance stations from eastern Europe.

One can only dream :p ;D :D

Sorry, I haven't posted in a while, there has been a mass amount of stuff going down at CBS Portland I have been dealing with... good times. Thanks for the mention, been trying to get our end of year countdown ready for Hot 96. Maybe 2009 will be another breakout year for dance music in the US with any luck!
