Online Streams For Contemporary Jazz

Hey guys, I wonder if you all can help with something. With "Smooth Jazz" going away on the radio dial, I wonder if you could give some great online radio stations that stream Smooth Jazz & Contemporary Jazz. I know, why haven't I made the switch already. Of course, there's the wav, nothing wrong with it Chris. : ) I like to give everyone a listen. 8) Although it will be hard to beat your station. ;)

Don't sweat it, brother. I LOVE the competition, particularly from guys who "get it" like Bill. Keeps me sharp. I love my loyal listeners and don't want you guys to go anywhere. Realistically speaking, you have choices, and I am not so arrogant to think my stream is the best or the only way to go with this format. That said, I really don't listen to any other stream but my own (for quality control and because I REALLY enjoy it). There is a great line by a great actor (the late Raul Julia) in a not so great (but I happen to like it!) 70s cult racing flick called "Gumball Rally." As Julia rips off his rear view mirror in the Ferrari he is preparing to drive, and throws it over his shoulder, he says to his racing partner in his best Italian accent, "The first rule of Italian driving: What is-a behind me is NOT important." 8)

Thanks for the replies guys. I usually stream Paul and Justin from WSJW in the morning, then Robyn from WLOQ middays, then back to WSJW with Carol, and finish up my day and overnight with the Seabreeze and the wav. On the weekends, we listen to the wav and KYSJ. So, I get to listen to a lot of them. : ) Sometimes, (I get bored easily) I might try listening to another during a certain point. I like to spread the love, plus the stations have certian things I like about them. Now with WLOQ and probably a few more going away soon that are not under BA's watch or banner, I will turn to online stations more. I found a few in a quick search, such as KKHI Online, The Old Smooth Jazz 1480 and Smooth Jazz.net. Bill, I will stream your station a lot more, good music there. Wish more folks could hear this music instead of what they been hearing. : ) Chris, keep the good tunes coming.
