Will 103.7 soon be the simulcast of News/Talk KKSF-AM 910?
Considering CC is now simulcasting in Sacramento on KBFK, after flipping 92.5, will it happen next in L.A.?
As asked on the SF board, if CC is planning a simulcast, why would CC be spending so much effort to bring Don Bleu to 103.7? Bleu is not a talk host, he's a long-time morning drive music-radio personality. He guested on 7 Live last week to publicize the move and he made it clear that 103.7 had a Greatest Hits format. Why would he do that if a change to NewsTalk was in the offing only a week later?

You are probably correct, but it wouldn't be the first time the replaced host was the last to know and was seen leaving the building with a knife in his back.
Probably true - but Don Bleu is not just any DJ - you could say he's the Bay Area's equivalent to Rick Dees - in terms of longevity anyway, if not talent (I personally don't find him very amusing).
But he's been in Bay Area morning drive since since 1980. He's survived for 20 years on 101.3 even though it's an AOR station, and he's probably 25 years older than any of their other DJs. For the last couple of years, he's been the only DJ not voice-tracked. Besides, CC even included a link to the 7 Live interview on the 103.7 website, and CC has been publicizing his big move for weeks now.
To suddenly jettison all that to simulcast a low-rated second-tier talk station doesn't make any sense, even though 910 has improved lately - snagging Rush and 2 ex-KGO hosts. Neither Limbaugh or the 2 KGO hosts have ever been broadcast on FM in the Bay Area, so it's not like CC needs a simulcast - at least not in the short run, anyway.
