only first half of update released

Does anyone know what's going on with two of the big news outlets? I don't understand why they're only releasing the first half of the update as a podcast. With ABC, the first half plays, then when they say "this is ABC News" and some stations break away and others go to commercial, the podcast plays an Indeed add and then ends. Why don't we get the second half? NPR does the same thing. When I ask Siri to play the latest news, it plays the NPR podcast, but stops about halfway through, plays a promo for one of NPR's other shows, then ends. Does anyone know why they're doing this?
