The local oldies station played that but I didn't happen to be in the car long enough to know which version.

I thought I had posted about "Cheap Sunglasses". Maybe that was somewhere else. But I looked it up and there was a short version and a long version. This was obviously the long version. which played until "CBS News on the hour".
 
In the early 1980s, 94Rock in Syracuse changed to adult contemporary Y94. When they first switched to AC, they promoted that they played the "full" versions of songs.
