Onyx Vs Roady XT BIG difference!

Wow nobody told me. I had a decent after market car stereo in the car I had before this and the RoadyXT worked fine. However in my current ride I'm using the stock radio and the RoadyXT was lacking both volume and Bass. I also found I had to use a ground loop isolator to get rid of an annoying whine.

Some time ago I bought an Onyx to plug into my Belkin boom box and to serve as a spare. Just for fun today I tried the Onyx in the car. The difference is amazing! No whine even without the ground loop isolator, plenty of volume and plenty of bass. (yes the audio gain on the Roady XT was at the max and it was still lower than I would like).

I guess your situation might be different but those are my results so the Roady XT will now live in the boom box while the Onyx stays in the car. Believe me in the car there is a dramatic difference!

It really is quite an improvement. Wish I had done this sooner. In the boombox they both seem about the same.
