OO sells "some" stations to Townsquare....not Panama City stns?

According to today's Radio-Info, OO (aka uh oh) has sold some of its stations to Townsquare....apparently the Panama City stations weren't part of the deal....unless they were left out of the copy...see below....does anyone know something contrary to the statement below?

Townsquare adds the Double O Radio stations in five markets: Midland-Odessa (TX), San Angelo (TX), Quincy, IL-Hannibal, MO, Sedalia (MO) and Oneonta (NY).

Yeah, the article was corrected/updated and now says that the Panama City stations are not part of the deal.

Why not? Who knows? Could be that Townsquare didn't want them (unlikely--PCB has its charms)... or Townsquare didn't want to pay OO as much as they wanted for them (more likely)... or OO already has a deal to sell them to someone else (also likely)... or the OO chief (is that still Bond?) wants to move to the beach and "mom & pop" the foursome himself, which would certainly not be the first time that sort of thinking has been applied to this kind of situation.

It will all come out in the wash...

Another group of experts that screwed the stations up. RNR = gotta extra $100,000? That's about what the PCB 4 CLUST is worth. I am missing the beach. If there were only a qualified engr that could fix the tired equipment at 00.

Actually Tibbs I don't think engineering there is the problem.....they have pretty good equipment from what I have heard....they even have a nifty 1kw frequency agile backup transmitter at the studio which I know works.......if you get my drift ;D

I need that laugh CCENG. Thanks for cheering me up, my friend. I could use a good shot at 107.9 frequency and multiple shots gin...not necessarily in that order -- if you get my draft... (as in beer). Tired of 48 hour days and little time messing with you and rob, Poledo and that know it all Yankee RNR...:)

As Charlie notes, the cool thing about the OO clusterf**k is that we could haul that portable XMTR from one end of the beach to the other and really impress all the chicks who would be impressed by electronic equipment. That shouldn't take long!

Their #8-to-#12 finish in the Spring 11 book should mean a most reasonable selling price, if that's their next move. Nothing wrong with Uh-Oh's 4 sticks. All it takes is some brains.

Question is, where would we find some? :)
