OOPS...JEFF LYNN STAYS AT WQBW AFTER ALL

As Tim Curprisin reported, Jeff Lynn changed his mind and will stay at WQBW, instead of going to WJMK in Chicago. Nice way to get a raise from your employer. LOL.

Re: JEFF LYNN STAYS

You should know that he's the King of Milwaukee Promotion.

Just another STUNT!

You know not of which you speak. If you had ANY clue as to what was going on, you would not have made that statement.

Jeff is one of the great guys in radio!

Re: JEFF LYNN

I DO know from what I write.

Jeff has a non-compete contract. Black and white,
where Clear Channel can match any offer, salary plus
benefits.

Clear Channel did just that!

You can't leave Clear Channel, until they tell you to!

CC non-compete

I would think Chicago would be outside Milwaukee's non-compete territory. It's usually a 75 mile radius (aren't there about 90 miles between the 2 markets?).

They can TRY to match, but Jeff didnt have to take it. Again you dont know the situation.

Some say you just can't go with-in the market / dma

non-compete

I'd bet MOST non-competes say that. Though, in some geo regions, the challenge is metros are very close to each other, so 75 mile radius thing certainly can apply (though not in this case, unless they have a 100 mile agreement- for how many years has Milwaukee lost talented people to Chicago?).
