Oops (Kix 106) and oops (WQOX)

Among today's radio tidbits comes the fact that WQOX has been issued a Notice of Apparent Liability for $1500 for failing to file an application for license renewal in a timely manner. It did not affect the renewal, however.

And according to my wife who works at a private shcool up this way, Kix 106 erroneously announced the early dismissal of Tipton County Schools yesterday. She had parents calling up frantic and very upset. I wonder which schoolkid punked Y&E?
