OOP's The River 105.9 WHCN meltdown

Hi All.After enjoying a sunday nights shows of "Red Beard" interviews. at 8pm Then at 9pm with The Deep End with Nick Michaels .Like I do every weekend.Ok tonights Red Beards show was great with Judas Priest. Then I awaited for THe Deep End to start.Ok at that time a 9pm all hell breaks loose when the automation equipment dumps about 16 minutes of spotsets and station id's.after that the station jump the Eagles.I guess The Deep End with Nick Michaels went down to the deep end of the automation system.

update ok a little bit later after 10.30 the station went to dead air for a few minutes then a loud tone like a square wave that lasted to about afer 11pm then dead air until to about 11.20pm.It look like its ok for now.

You should have tried listening to the show on 98.7 WNLC. They air "The Deep End" on Sunday nights, as well.

Ok thanks.I will try to tune WNLC in to see if I can receive the station.also I found that Chicago's WDRV streams the show on saturday nights at 11pm est

Clear Channel stations love their voicetracking and unattended operation. The results are sometimes horrendous, as you heard first hand.

Yes I have to agree about CC stations. Now what happens when the station accidently dumps almost 20 minutes of spots at one time.will some spots get written off of charging for the spots and charge only the spots that suppost to run at their time period. Also The Deep End show was not aired or any other syndicated shows of that matter does not run because of getting pre-empted or a technical glich like last sunday and what happens to the spots that suppost to run and pre- payed for the time commited to run during in the program.

Hi all.INo since sttarting another thread on this .Tonight I rush home to listen to "RedBeard In The studio"
syndi show.Tonight show was the one I was waiteing for awhile to air.Of all things the station has another automation server meltdown dumping the ad inventory plus jingles over over the air for 10 minutes.heres another one for crap channel of corp radio..I will just tune to an out of state webcast to enjoy the show.
