Is it my imagination, or is Open House Party really cranking out alot of Dance Music lately,,, They sure played alot last night. I know O.H.P is famous for its Occassional Dance hits, and POP/Dance Remixes,, but their seems to be a whole lot more now. I bet last nights show was probably 35 to 40% Dance, if ya count the POP/Dance remixes. It almost sounds as dancey as it did in the 90s. The good news is, OHP is no where short for Affiliates, almost everyone has access to OHP through a local CHR, In fact, I get OHP on all 3 CHR stations in my area, so its great to get that extra exposure, so much props to John G, Kane and the Superadio gang for keeping Dance Alive....BTW--Cascada is a very Popular requested song their, Im sure J.P knows this lol, they have their own Remix of it too.

I noticed the same thing while listening a different times last night. A lot of current hits played as dance mixes

OHP played a little more dance last night since Cascada was their in-studio guest. They played "Everytime..." 3 times plus an album track, "Ready For Love" during the interview. Apparently "Ready..." is supposed to be the next single. Besides that, nothing unusual. They normally do the pop/remix thing for the first 15-18 minutes of each hour plus the "Satellite Megamix" during the last hour of the show. These are normal features. You'll also notice that Kane does not spike in the pure dance tracks on Sunday night the way John does on Saturdays. All in all nothing special, but I suppose it's better than some syndie hip-hop or reggaeton show....

Not sure what they talked about on "Open House Party" but before I start getting a ton of e-mails on this, we have not picked a new Cascada single yet. :)
