OK, Howie...here's the deal: along certain geographical radii called azimuth points, WRKO can be said to be MORE POWERFUL than WBZ-AM! WBZ's strongest signal is at azimuth point 250, north of due west, at which it generates just over 4000 units of signal strength...WRKO has two lobes one due north, zero degrees azimuth and pretty much southeast, about 145 degrees of azimuth toward which positions it generates about 44-hundred units of signal strength, per the FCC website. Where you live, the signal is a little weaker than WBZ during the day, and considerably weaker pre-sunrise and at night. But where I live, and occasionally travel, WRKO has considerable PUNCH!
