Opening Day is... tomorrow.

Red Sox have postponed today's Opening Day game till tomorrow at 4 pm due to weather. So all the radio and tv hype will have to wait a while (or maybe they'll still do all the talk, etc.)

I'm guessing the rule is still that WEEI carries any afternoon weekday starts, plus Wed. night games, rather
than WRKO.

Great, once again WRKO is WEEI-2. I really hope Entercom falls further than Citadel Broadcasting. Why can't they replace Felon Finneran with this ball-strike-foul-out action instead of good shows? And a hearty F You for firing the entire news team for this soupy drek.

In some ways I don't mind having the Sox have MOST games on 680 because it comes in better at work.
(93.7 would be just as good, if not better). By the way every time you hear them say "you can hear every
game of the Red Sox on WRKO" consider:

Tue 4/7, 4 pm: WEEI
Wed 4/8, 7:10 pm: WEEI
Thu 4/9, 1:35 pm: WEEI
So much for "every game on 680"...Wed nights and aft games, again, on 850 instead

And btw an article at http://www.bostonradiowatch.com lists the top 10 earning stations in town.
WEEI came in second overall with $31.2 million (only behind WBZ, $31.7 million) while WRKO earned $7.6 million
(WMKK which has no DJs made $12.1 million. So maybe WRKO is a loss leader?)

Is that not similar to Gary Lapierre saying "we check traffic every ten minutes" during the nights/overnights on wbz when they only check traffic once an hour?

Exactly--which is why if there were rules for truth in advertising, Gary should add "...during morning
and afternoon drive but not now".
