With the impending "blizzard" in RI, that memorable jingle popped into my head. Everyone knew to wake up to WPRO-AM when snow was in the forecast to see if you were going to have Salty make your day with a school cancelation (or be bummed out with a 1hr delay). Today, with digital tickers on the bottom of the screen, and the Internet, not so much. Memories...
 
I agree and since they use accuweather and accuweather has a website you can narrow down your forecast online using the same resource. If you get weather on the radio I think RI will always think WPRO when it comes to updates. With this storm falling on a weekend, all the more so.
