Opie and Anthony have been axed in DC

DCRTV hears that NYC morning radio duo Opie and Anthony will be axed from WJFK-FM. Their last show on DC broadcast radio will be today Friday, 1/18. They've lost a half dozen markets in the last year. Obviously they are on the way out everywhere. How much longer will be until Providence dumps them? My guess is that it won't be to distant in the future.
 
It should be mentioned that on WJFK, they were carried on tape delay, between 10 AM and 1 PM. That is not a good time slot for a show like that, at all.

Tom (nasal laugh "heh heh heh") Chiusano will be missed. My favorite story of Tom is when he got pissed one morning while getting dressed. So he punched his hanging suit. True Story. I laughed for an hour straight that day. The guy was a classic. There was even an animation made about it. Click the link below and look under the category "Button X Shorts".
