Opie & Anthony Sign new Deal with SiriusXM

Opie & Anthony Sign new Deal with SiriusXM. Radio duo Opie & Anthony announced on their show Monday (10/1) that they had signed a two year contract to continue with SiriusXM. By the end of the new deal, they will have been with the company for a decade, and will have been together as a duo for two decades. Opie says, “That would be a nice place to end it.”

Didn't see anyone else beating their door down to lure them away from Sirius/XM did you?

"It's better to burn out, than to fade away"

funny, how they groan and moan about management. how they think it's time to take their show elsewhere - and every time the contract comes up - they go nowhere. I guess, because someone before me stated correctly, who else is banging on their door fo their wares? nobody.

Sounds exactly like another satellite radio host whose name rhymes with Broward Churn.

You must mean the late Anna Nicole Smith's lawyer friend, but without the "K" middle initial ;D

They make a good living, and Sirius does value them as a show (despite Opie's constant lamentations to the contrary). Why would they go elsewhere? They're beyond the point in their careers where they want to build a huge audience via syndication, and no terrestrial station is going to pay them what Sirius does. They, along with Howard, have the best gigs in radio.
