Opinions please

Ladies and gentlemen,
I was driving thru the Franfort area last week and scanned the channels.
I found a couple of decent signals and just thought I'd ask opinions of
what is thought of the area and the local radio there.
Thanks in advance.

Well, first of all, most of Lexington's stations are strong enough to make it into Frankfort with a pretty good signal, so I guess you could say that Frankfort relies on Lexington for television and radio. Frankfort does actually have a few stations of its own like WKED-FM "STAR 1037" or WKYW-FM "Capital Country 1049" and even some on AM. I personally think 103.7 and 104.9 are pretty good stations and have great quality and music. I live in Lexington and listen to both of them quite often. I just can't really pick them up on the east and south side of town. WFKY-AM 1490 comes in pretty good in LEX too! They play oldies and I sometimes tune into them just to hear a song or two. I recommend listening to them!
P.S. -- You can pull in some of Louisville's stations from Frankfort, too (even in Lexington sometimes), they have some pretty good stations.
