Oprah Gone From Sirius

Tom Taylor reports that the Oprah Channel is now gone from Sirius. Pretty amazing. I really thought she would have made a great host for radio, but she didn't want to do the work. So she gave her name to a satellite channel, as she did to a cable channel, and no one cared. People want Oprah. They don't want her friends. And Oprah is so rich, she doesn't have to work any more.

So one less channel on Sirius. Less content for the same month price. Does anyone care?

My hope is that SiriusXM won't fill those few now-former Oprah channel bits with some other talk show drivel, allowing the albeit small amount of bandwidth, to be used by the music channels in the interest of improving audio quality.

Thank goodness!

Now that Oprah has begun her comeback and she can be found everywhere, from TV interviews on any subject to producing and acting in her own films, etc., this is great news to someone like me who is trying to avoid seeing her anywhere.
