Hey all... I've got an 8100 with the Texar modified card and the modified face panel as well. This is a working unit. I DO NOT have the Prism's that used to go with it. If anyone is interested in it, send me a PM. Figured I would see if any of you wanted it before I ebayed it.

Optimod 8100 with Prism Modifications

RCF-1... Sorry, I forgot to include that.
I have the Gentner RCF-1 if anyone is interested.works fine,came from working install.
I want to be clear that I am trying to sell the entire 8100A with the RCF-1 modifications. Not just the card.

I wish I had the budget for the school station I'm working with. The Hnat-Hindes FM limiter doesn't really cut it though it's better than the Volumax it replaced.
Alright guys... I also have a stock 8100A (Working) for sale. Both go on ebay next week, so if you are interested, PM me.
a quick note for Bill
I too use a Hnat Hindes FM limiter(Broadcast Technology UM 2000) but front it with their recommended addition of a dbx266xl compressor...The manual lays out how to set the two up to play nicely....and leave the fine tuning to you...
That really does make a difference.
Over the years I've used quite a few different processors....this pair provides a nice blend between transparency, my favorite and density to keep it from falling off the dial.......
As with all of it, garbage in...garbage out....
