Orban 8100A / California Digimod Cards

Sorry to drag open a 40-year-old topic, but I'm looking for some info. Is there still anybody here that's well versed on the California Digital Digimod cards for the Orban 8100A? Specifically, I'm wondering what year were they were first put into service, and if there's any documentation on them? I read in another thread that there are 2 versions of these cards -- one for Gannett stations and one for everybody else. I'm particularly interested in the Gannett cards, but information about any of them would be extremely helpful. Thank you!

I bought a set of them in 1983. Not sure where from. That's about the time they were made available.I don't remember a whole lot of documentation with them. They have been sitting in a box of spare "card 5's" for the better part of 30 years, until recently. The California Digital cards are currently on the air at KWMZ with an 80's format like the cards were designed for.

Thanks for your reply! That's awesome that someone still has those cards in service. I'm listening to the KWMZ stream, but not sure what may be processing the stream -- although it sounds good. The bass punch sounds familiar to the station I worked for in the 80's, so maybe it's the Digimods :)
