Orban 8200 problems

Hello!
I have an old Orban 8200 and one day when I did an reboot of it I couldn’t get it to boot up again. I thought it had to do with a standard Orban Error while rebooting - the PSU just gets out of order.

I replaced the PSU and now I can hear the PSU fans work and everything is ok.
But now I dont get any picture on the screen..
I tried to connect my audio cables to see if it was processing but no, just quiet.

Is there someone here who had the same problem? Orban wont help me out since the machine is old as... They suggest me to go buy a new machine.

99% of the 8200 problems were related to power supplies. When you replaced the PSU, I assume you retrofitted the PSU box with off the shelf switching power supplies? If so, then recheck all your connections and make sure you didn't miss something. Another simple thing to check is whether the contrast knob on the front panel got inadvertently bumped to zero.

Sometimes those displays will die, but usually they do so gradually. I've seen some people that replaced the old display backlight with LED strips.
