What is the best pre-set for a Uptempo Country Format?

Hot Country?

Mainstream Country?

Rock?

Were doing 40db of compression. Too much/too little?

AGC is slow-med


Were in a market where the competition modulates 120-130-140%!
 
Starting with the 8400, and through to the 8500, I think the Gregg family of presets are a great place to start. With the 8500 I particularly like Gregg-Open. I tend to disable the L-R enhancement for formats such as those, though others may suggest leaving it on.
