Orban Customer Service

I was having a small problem between my Audioarts D75 and my Orban 5500. I just wanted to point out how great the customer service was at BOTH companies in helping fix it. Especially Orban. They are really on top of their game in the customer service department.

I only post this because we are often quick to chastise, but not praise those that go above and beyond.
 
Amen on both companies. Both are top-notch in giving real help. For an insurance deal I had to get a list of parts after a direct lighting hit-surge that ate up all the chips in an audio arts console. Their support guy spent about two hours helping me build the list. It turned out of course cheaper to buy a new one, but I had to prove it. Guess what's sitting there now? An R55e. I've bought a ton more of them too since then. Real support equals real buys from me in the future. Organ and their direct competitor Telos-Omnia set the standard in customer support. They are very helpful. I've also had both of those companies throw a couple parts I needed in the mail FREE, for me to fix something years and years old. I just wished transmitter manufactures were as good as these processor guys. They are are a pure delight to work with!

Not to beat a horse again but Nautel does come pretty close if not as good. In my last experience with them BE was pretty good too but not quite to the Nautel level. One of the stations I contract for has an Armstrong STL and they were helpful in the couple of times we contacted them.

Same here regarding Nautel. They have been one of the best to deal with for tech support in my experience.

Yes, Orban takes superb care of their customers, so does AudioArts and Nautel. Props to Continental for supporting many an oldie. I go out of my way to praise companies who support their older gear and give superb service. And recommend them to everyone I know.
 
CE. The best! I just wished they'd got into the soils state game for real. 30 yrs or more after building something and STILL supporting it. Yup...
 
Everyone on the staff of Orban has ALWAYS been good to me, including help from Bob Orban in both personal e-mails and posts on this board.

This is even though I'm usually calling about some piece of old gear I grabbed from ebay!
 
I'm going to have to get the big thumbs up to broadcast electronics. They spent a great deal of time helping me with something today. This was AudioVAULT related.
 
AV tech support is wonderful, and the shining star in that company on great support. I'm not a huge BE fan or other things, but their AV stuff runs wonderfully and is well supported. I've NEVER called AV support and got a grumpy less-than-helpful support person. In contrast, I certainly have with some other systems...
