You know Merloni and Fauria are gone at the first opportunity. Over/under is 6 mos... I'll take the under. He's champing at the bit to bring back all his old buddies. His ego demands he "improve" the show.

I believe his usual cast is what hurt him towards the end, specifically Smerlas and DeOssie. I think Pete Sheperd is great with Glen but I'm not sure if he'll ever be allowed in the building again.

I liked Pete, too. Was much better than the smug Ordway especially with callers. But, his salary (in the 6 figure range?) made him very expendable.

I've now forgotten most of his "good ol'boy" talent list. Which was made easy by the fact that when Ordway went away so did they. That must say something about their talent level. No one else wanted them.
