On the David Letterman TV show O'Reilly said Limbaugh's ratings went up because he stopped competing with him 4 weeks ago. Of course O'reilly is always right, just ask him.

Sorry to inform Mr O...(whom I do watch on TV),

But, his Radio Factor was a tier two talk show...he never approached the ratings of Limbaugh.

RE Kurtz article: Kabc got rid of Oreally about two or three weeks before he left radio, the KABC listeners went to Limbaugh over on kfi, Oreilly was number two up against limbaugh in a few markets, like LA

With the exception of a few markets you are correct. In fact, he was a bottom-feeder in a few. It was obvious he didn't prep well and shot from the hip. A bloviating windbag from Fixed Noise!

Call Fox Security! We may have an "illegal" here and a "pin head"

Bill-O is so so full of BS. Heck Thom Hartmann and Ed Schultz got better ratings then he ever did. Then Westwood One is not doing so well.

Many of these talk show hosts have inflated ego's, and think they are more influential in the process then they are. O'Reilly, who I like and watch regularly, dissappoints me with this ego boosting comment. Bottom line is this... President Obama is living proof that there is no need for a so-called "Fairness Doctrine" or any need for any kind of freedom-of-speech squelching "leveling of the playing field". Rush Limbaugh is the most listened to radio talk show host, on 3 hours every day, talking against the Democrat party and all in it. Yet, look who's been elected...in the House and Senate too. People vote their economics. If you want to stay in office, don't let the economy go down too far on your watch. Simple as that.
