O'Reilly didn't work out in the live spot stations like KNEW originally cleared him in, and now he's on in early evening purgatory... except for the fact that he trails the top-rated local Michael Savage show. I've heard he's cutting his Savage lead in numbers off by 75%. Is this true? If so, how long before this and his poor performance get him 86ed. Even bringing back Phil Hendrie looks good right now.

The thing that is totally inexcusable here is the fact that KNEW has gotten almost no publicity out of this huge local news story. On every TV news story I've seen there has been no mention of KNEW, only of O'Reilly. Not one single news story I saw mentioned "..O'Rielly's comments were broadcast locally on KNEW Radio..." in their report. The KNEW folks should have bombarded every TV station with that info. What the hell are they thinking over there?

KNEW's been a mess from day one. very good observations.
 
Not to disagree....but O'Reilly's comments first came on his TV show. The only comments he's made on radio came after the local media picked up the story.

He was on A & G...and they reciprocated...KNEW still a mess though. Has more to do with the insane budget cuts going on at CC more than anything else. Hard for it not to be a mess when there's no money being put into it...

Well when you spend a reported 7 figuers to pay Savage, I guess there's
not much left to promote your radio station, But then, who needs promotion when you have the "Savage" Did'nt he Bury KSFO as he promised ? What, your
kidding ! Hired By Ed Kramph and Ken Kohl. Now there are 2 of radios scariest executives. But I would assume listening to 106.9 that Infinity did'nt get that memo.

Sounds like you have more of an axe to grind with them. You can't judge Free FM until February, after everything is up and running.

Not really sure what your meaning is regarding 'burying' KSFO...he is beating them.
