O'Reilly Refering to a Right Wing Talker that sounded like Michael Savage

Heard Bill O'Reilly refer to a Conservative Talker who is so far right he can't sell commercials. Sounded like he was referring to Savage.
Is he really having difficulty selling ads.

Don't know about that, but I heard Savage recently refer to his talk show competitors as thus:

-The Golfer
-Head banger
-Lepreachon
-The Gambler

Can you guess who he was referring to?

I listen to Savage every day and it doesn't sound like he's having a problem selling commercial slots.

He must be making a little money, since he's driving a 250,000 dollar boat.

Savage's son (and maybe Savage) owns part of Rockstar beverage...this could be worth billions (snapple was bought by Quaker Oats or some company for big money for example) It was savage who introduced his rich friend (the guy who started Skky Vodka) to his son...savage might have a secret interest in this deal..

Savage?aka Weiner always was developing health/food products...I think Savage is a better businessman than the others...what happened to the No Bounderies Limbaugh Necktie Business? went under But Savage made a living writing and promoting health books...

If Savage doesnt have an interest his wife definitely does so Savage has done well with this drink.
Good for him. I dont see any problem as he is not really promoting this stuff on the air.

Savage has publicly called for putting Bush's opponents in concentration camps. For that reason, at least one national advertiser will not run spots on any station that carries "Savage Nation". Radio stations have to pay cold hard cash to the syndication company to air the show.

As reactionary as major advertisers can be, they do not like to be associated with someone who openly promotes fascism.

I suspect he was saying that with sarcasm, much like Rush makes fun of people's looks and other boneheaded things he says.

He was saying today he is number one 35-64 in Portland which is pretty good in left leaning town.

I listen to all these guys. What cracks me up is how Rush acts like he doesn't even know who Savage is. They all hate Savage and he has not love lost for ANYONE. None of them really mention Savage too much except Levine who calls him Wiener. Savage is pretty well ignored by other radio shows and tv shows even though he has had so many best selling books. Even President Bush ignores him when he has his cozy little get-togethers at the White House.

That's Savage's schtick. He crafted his on-air personna very carefully, and it appears to be working for him. Why would he want to mess with something that works for him? I wouldn't be surprised if in real life all of those talk hosts got along, but they perpetuate each others' images in public.

That's interesting, I'd never thought of that. It might be true, but it would seem maybe he could sell even more books if he was covered more. That does give me something to think about. :-\
