Last night's O'Reily show on WCKG was a repeat of a show I heard earlier this week. It was all about Bush's UPCOMING speech to the nation concearning the war.

I'm not saying I'm a big fan of Bill O'Reily, but if WCKG is going to re-run shows in the same week (this happens almost every other week with O'Reily, I've posted about this before), then they should drop his show from their line-up. It is a current events show, at least if you re-run Loveline it would be harder to notice.

Do Stern and Dahl make so much money for 'CKG that they can put the other 14 hours a day on cruise control. It shows such disregard for your night time listeners when you dont even try to give them some interesting programming at night.

And what's with that Jeff Schwartz, I'm sorry, but except for his close relationship to Dahl, and his insistance on being on the air with McMurray and Dahl, what does he do over there.

WCKG is a TURD of a station. Infiniti was so desperate to kill oldies across the country, they didn't realize what a crap station they had in Chicago. I bet you that Schwartz reports back to Joel and lies about how good WCKG does. The suits should tune in during non drive time hours.

And finally, you notice they have commercials for O'Reily and Loveline, but don't promote John & Jeff? They didn't promote them the first time around when they were on 'CKG. They didn't promote Phil Hendry either, and he was excellent. What a bunch of local yocal jerks are running that station.

Oh, and did I mention the weekends are an abomination, anchored by the enema infomercial in the mornings (no joke, this enema infomercial has been on weekends for at least 3 years), and the Bob & MaryAnn infomercial (I love are new Lexus that we bought at whatever Lexus dealer, oh and my favorite chinese resteraunt is.....)

THE GREAT ONE?

How many times must I correct your spelling? InfinitY, not InfinitI

I have to partly agree with you. "Wake up with Howard & Go Home with Steve"

What about everything else. They barely promote there other lineups. Most people don't even know Bill O'Reilly and Loveline are CKG. On their website, they don't even have a space for all their other shows. (ie. John & Jeff, Brooke and Scott, Steve Van Zant) They need some major help in that promotion department. How can you get rating if nobody knows what you have on the air. Not even a billboard or anything. Most people don't even know that howard is on CKG.

I would like to say that the infomerical doesn't stop with Brooke and Moe - he's now turned Pete into Mr. Infomercial too!!! If I wanted to listen to infomercial then I would!!!!

I also think the Stan and Terry decision wasn't a good one. Maybe it's my timing, but every time I tune in they are talking about food!!! Usualy Ribs, or something. How entertaining is that????

Lastly, they should shake up the weekends with more live stuff during the day. Bob and Marianne were funny live when they did a remote.

Since WLS went downhill, I've switched to 'CKG - but it isn't the same without Kev.

I remember hearing Dahl make fun of an enema infomercial he heard on the station SEVEN years ago. Could this be the same one?

Either way, nothing you really posted is anything new. WCKG has horribly neglected non-drive time dayparts ever since they stopped playing classic rock, but it's even more noticeable now that Kev is gone.

> This is radio today crap! See the Houston board and read about our thorn kfnc 97.5 fm Houstons Newschannel. Hitious radio would be a better name for them. Sad isnt it?
