Origin of the TRG greeting "Peteetong"!

Peteetong! The official greeting of The Regular Guys Show. How did it come about? After all these years of listening I've missed where it came from. It's driving me nuts! How did it happen? Is it subversive? is it dishwasher safe? Is it good for America??? Could it, and the money Southside Steve pays out for hair products pull America out of it's economic woes??

Someone out there must know! I want to believe...

That clears up the origin. I encourage everyone to go to the link above, and also listen to the origin phone call you can access. It's hysterical! I was going to post the definition. But I wasn't sure about copyright. And if it were copyright infringement, I didn't want to waste a good copy & paste. It's the weekend, and I don't want to run out. Thank you Mister Daisy for clearing that up. But! What about the impact of the "peeteetong" movement? None of my other questions were answered?

Is this a conspiracy? ( cue X-Files theme song)

All I know is that origin of "Thank You for taking my call" is from Dr Laura and it seems to be universal now on most talk shows.
I can't stand this greeting.

??? Can you explain a bit more? People didn't say thanks before Dr. Laura? Not buying that at all.

Thanks to the Internets, the Peteetong movement is going global and many related products are in the works such as the petite thong. I’d buy stock in Peteetong as soon as Wachs takes the brand public.

Peteetong, man.
