Orioles Staying Put On WBAL

The Baltimore Orioles and flagship station WBAL-1090 have extended their radio broadcast deal for two more years, as reported by the Baltimore Sun.

At least the O's realize the value of having their games broadcast on a radio station with a strong signal, unlike a Certain Pro Football Team Thirty-Five Miles Down I-95 Who Were Eliminated In The NFC Semifinals.

Could that be a team who's stadium resembles a giant cruise ship? Seriously, does anybody in DC still carry the Orioles on the radio? What about the Nationals for the 2006 season? Who's carrying them?<P ID="signature">______________

The Nationals will be carried on Bonneville's Washington Post Radio (WTWP 1500 AM, WTWP 107.7 FM).

If I recall correctly, the Orioles are carried in DC by Clear Channel's Sportstalk 980 (WTEM).

My question is......"Do the O's need WBAL or does WBAL need the O's?"
