One of my co-workers at a TV station in Indiana went to work as a reporter for U.S. Farm Report in the 90s.He started the U.S. Farm Report, which is still on the air today over RFD-TV and dozens of local affiliates. RIP and welcome to Heaven, Mr. Samuelson, where the alfalfa fields never deal with drought, the cattle graze peacefully, and the angels sing.![]()
I spent a lot of Friday nights in WHO-TV master control timing US Farm Report with Orion and Max.
Satellite. Might have fed at 7pm Fridays. I think we aired it at 5am Sunday...might have been Saturday...been a while.Taping the satellite feed? Must have been fun scanning the skies for the feeds...and especially with game shows, knowing that you were 2-3 days ahead of the average 70-year-old Betty playing along at home.
Or did US Farm Report get sent to you on a 1" videotape?
