A reminder that the December numbers actually cover the period between November 13-December 10

Top 5:
  • Magic dominates with a 14.5, beating their last several years of December books (9.6 in Dec. '24, 13.9 in Dec. '23, 11.4 in Dec. '22 and 12.0 in Dec. '21)
  • Sunny slips to #2 with 8.3 to 7.8 and WMMO to #4, slipping 6.9 to 6.6, not bad at all given Magic's huge leap
  • Star holds 6.6 to 6.7 and slips to # 3 with Magic going up, but hasn't regained the steam it had earlier in the year
  • XL holds almost steady 5.6 to 5.5 in a book that sees several similar sized market iHeart CHRs fall under a 2.0 (Baltimore, Cleveland, Cincinnati) and quite a few more in the 2-3 share range
The Rest:

  • Mix holds almost steady 4.7 to 4.8 in a month when other Hot ACs see a dip due to holiday numbers
  • K92 is down 5.3 to 3.5
  • Everyone else holds pretty close to what David E. tells us would be a margin of error and doesn't have much notable change
  • Hits 96.5 flipped to Christmas a week into this period, so three of the four weeks were all-Christmas for them and it actually brought them down 3.3 to 3.1
  • Joy 98.1 flipped to Christmas at some point in this period given the endless billboards I saw every day on I-4 and 417, and it took them down from 0.8 to 0.5
